a month agoJust had chemo infusion #5 out of 12 Taxol/Herceptin.Side effects have been mild with fatigue, indigestion being the main ones.Sometimes I get random pains through the chest, breast area or random areas that come and go maybe in the knee or back. My cancer was removed and there were clear margins and no lymph node involvement. The weird deep pains are not consistent.Does anyone else get random pains?

a month agoMany people undergoing Taxol treatment do experience various types of intermittent discomfort, including the kind of unpredictable aches you're describing. These random pains in different parts of the body can be concerning, but they're often reported by others going through similar treatment regimens. It's always worth mentioning these symptoms to your medical team during your next appointment so they can provide guidance specific to your situation and help ensure you're as comfortable as possible during the remainder of your treatments.

a month agoI started getting this odd pain where my left ovary would be, but not like the same kind of pain with cysts or cramps. I also started getting naropothy in my toes and fingers. Do you still wear the cold cap? My hair started really falling out this weekend, and I was thinking about you. Do you wear ice gloves or ice your feet?

a month agoYes,I am cold capping.I ice my hands and feet and eat ice during the infusion.I have not lost hair, have no neuropathy and have no mouth sores.I will keep doing what I am doing because it is works for me.The heartburn is the worst and I get fatigued easily. I also have weird pains in the front of my neck.
