Are tumor marker blood tests recommended for monitoring recurrence?

3 years agoIs anyone’s oncologist recommending CA 15-3 and CA 27.29 blood tests to monitor tumor markers that might indicate a recurrence?

7 months agoI do these tests every 3 weeks. The same day of my treatment. My markers are increasing and it’s 123 now. I had a pet scan yesterday and I am so worried about the results.

7 months agoYes, I was stage 2. I'm post TCHP and right mastecomy. Almost done with T-DM1. Getting CA 15-3 drawn every six weeks.

7 months agoMy stage was 3c so we use these blood tumor marker tests and I get scans once a year.
