Hello! My name is Dawn and I just signed up. I’m wondering if anyone on here has any experience with their first line of chemo becoming ineffective and having to switch to something else? I’m scared. I see the Oncologist this Friday but my CT scans say the cancer has spread to my liver and kidney. It’s already in my lung and bones. I’m struggling to keep hope. Is there anyone?

Welcome to the community! Many people here have navigated treatment changes when their initial therapy stops being effective, so you're definitely not alone in this experience. The fear you're feeling before your oncology appointment is completely understandable, and this community is here to support you through these challenging decisions. Others who have been through similar treatment transitions will likely share their experiences and insights to help you feel more prepared for your discussion with your care team on Friday.
