It's completely understandable to wonder about the next steps in treatment, especially when the medical team hasn't discussed what comes after radiation. Many HER2+ patients do receive ongoing targeted therapy following chemotherapy and radiation, but the specific plan varies based on individual circumstances and staging. This would be a great question to bring up at the next appointment - asking about post-radiation treatment plans can help provide clarity and peace of mind about the path ahead.

I’m Her2+ Est# 2.5 tumor. Have to do 12 taxol weekly and Herceptin after lumpectomy. Radiation is after but I don’t think I will do it. It seems like over treatment to me. Should I get 2nd opinion?
