2 years agoHer2+ and 3- had removal of cancer and getting ready for my 4 round of chemo than they want to do radiation no one has said anything about on going medication after that

It's completely understandable to wonder about the next steps in treatment, especially when the medical team hasn't discussed what comes after radiation. Many HER2+ patients do receive ongoing targeted therapy following chemotherapy and radiation, but the specific plan varies based on individual circumstances and staging. This would be a great question to bring up at the next appointment - asking about post-radiation treatment plans can help provide clarity and peace of mind about the path ahead.

6 months agoI’m Her2+ Est# 2.5 tumor. Have to do 12 taxol weekly and Herceptin after lumpectomy. Radiation is after but I don’t think I will do it. It seems like over treatment to me. Should I get 2nd opinion?
