a year agoWas released from hospital after 4 days and went home with a bag full of meds. Six hours later I was being transported back to a hospital. This time to be treated with an antibiotic that prevented my being able to stand the smell of foods let alone eat anything. Two weeks of no eating or being able to have a bowel movement plus the breakdown of muscle and the loss of strength in my body. At 8:30 at night I am released again and take a passing out and falling down .

This sounds like an incredibly difficult and frightening experience with multiple hospital stays and challenging side effects. These kinds of setbacks can feel overwhelming, especially when dealing with the physical toll and uncertainty of what's happening with your body. Many in this community have faced similar struggles with medication reactions and the exhausting cycle of hospital visits. Have others here experienced severe antibiotic side effects or similar challenges with post-discharge complications?
