a year agoI am finding that my biggest challenge is life after diagnosis and surgery is finding stable employment so that I can fund the meds (Letrozole) and bone infusions (Zometa) is difficult in this economy. Anybody else having the same problem?

The financial burden of cancer treatment is unfortunately a common struggle that many in this community face. There are several resources that might help, including patient assistance programs from pharmaceutical companies, nonprofit organizations that provide financial aid for cancer patients, and social workers at treatment centers who specialize in connecting patients with financial support options. Many have found success reaching out to the manufacturers of Letrozole and Zometa directly, as they often have programs to help reduce medication costs for qualifying patients.

6 months agoAlso, try GoodRx! Saved me $600 a month on Letrozole! I also had it delivered. Pharmacy costs me over 600, GoodRx delivered it to me for $10. Tell me that’s not crazy! I’ve been switched to Anastrozole now due to uncomfortable side effects.
