Hi Linda I had the same thing happen to me one week into my radiation and it was scared mean so much because I was having those gold flashes of light and so many floater and they were like constant. It was a friday night so I said I will go to sleep and pray they would be gone in the morning,but both were still there so I called radiation oncologist doctor and he felt like it was not related to my radiation .I called my PCP to get some information as to what I should do he made me a referral to see eye doctor First thing Monday morning since I didn't want to go to hospital because they were so packed.Went to my eye doctor early Monday morning and he did a lot of test and send me a retina specialist because he thought I might have a detached retina. Went to retina doctor and she said I had some bleeding behind my eye and I thank God she said it wasn't a detached retina just some bleeding and gave me some eyedrops and went back to her a couple of times to make sure bleeding was improved and not as much bleeding. I hope you got checked check-out by a eye doctor because detached retina is not good.
