Anyone experience headaches after a Herceptin infusion? First infusion in nearly 12 weeks. Finished chemo, waited 6 weeks for surgery, and then had to wait another 6 weeks after surgery. Now... headache, ouch.

Many people do report experiencing headaches as a side effect of Herceptin infusions, so this reaction isn't uncommon, especially after a treatment break. It's worth mentioning this to your healthcare team, as they can help determine the best way to manage any side effects and may have suggestions for prevention or relief during future infusions.

I didn’t get them but I have heard others got them with just Herceptin. So it seems common!

Yes I got them my first few weeks. They go away eventually. I’m on 9 weeks and haven’t had any in the past 3

Yes. The first 3 infusions I had a migraine for days that wouldn’t go away.

I haven’t had headaches but drink juice or something sweet. It may be a headache from low glucose levels. I am not diabetic

If headache continue ask for MRI of brain. I did not stop Herceptin after chemo. It went all through surgery and radiation until the year was up.

How was Herceptin and radiation together? I am a little concerned about the level of fatigue.
