Howdy man here! Had a Lumpectomy last June for my left breast. To this day if I do 15 crunches I get the worse muscle cramps in my upper abdomen. Anyone else experience this? Thanks Tony

This sounds like a frustrating experience that's affecting your ability to stay active after your procedure. Post-surgical changes can sometimes lead to unexpected muscle reactions or compensations in other areas of the body, and abdominal cramping during certain exercises isn't uncommon among cancer survivors. It would be worth discussing this with your healthcare team to rule out any underlying causes and get guidance on safe exercise modifications that work for your recovery.

Do chair exercises or do the crunches standing up! Lots of great videos on facebook or instagram. I have a hard time laying on my back now.

One thing that will stop it from hurting is don't do them, lol just kidding I had my lumpectomy 8 years ago and there are still certain movements when I twist certain ways that still give me sharp pains or hurt. It has gotten way better over the years so not complaining I just have to adjust certain activities. I wish you all the best.
