12 days agoI am wondering does anyone else feel tired after taking the hormone blocker anastrolze? I know I spelled it wrong! I have been taking it for a little over 2 yrs now. I am 70 and I have a small amount of shoulder joint pain but I do use a skiing machine and a rowing machine plus I do all my yard work so that alone can cause joint pain . I’m wondering does anyone take it at night ? I thinking maybe I should try that

12 days agoMany people taking anastrozole (Arimidex) do report experiencing fatigue and joint pain as common side effects, so these concerns are shared by others in the community. Some find that adjusting the timing of when they take their medication can help with fatigue, though it's worth discussing this change with the healthcare team to see what works best for each individual situation.

12 days agoI had my mammogram September 28 2026 at Duke Women Cancer Cancer and My Mammogram came back with no signs of Malignant Cancer,I will continue with my targerted therapy every 3 weeks with maintenance therapy and get IV fluids because I have CKD stage 3B.I will also get echocarigram every three months to check my heart.I am so grateful and don't understand why I am not elated I think it's because we all have that fear of breast cancer coming back I was first diagnosed in late 2022 with triple negative breat cancer took my chemo drugs and Keyturda until I had my surgery in February 2024 and was given PCR couldn't do my radiation at that time because I developed Adrenal Insufficiency and pneumonia and was in hospital a couple of times.Got started on hydrocortisone for adrenal insufficiency and I started going in for my port flushing and everything was good until September of 2025 Had a small tumor had a biospy and ultrasound and surgey within four weeks of discovery my margins were clear but had HERS positive cancer this time in same area as previous site.I was able to do my radiation this time and started on Targerted Therapy on Feb 2026 every three weeks and when I had my mammogram on September 28 2026 showed no signs of Malignant..I will continue with targerted therapy as long as my echocarigram are ok.I am very grateful but at same time I just can't understand why I am not feeling so elated and and i understand now when women say they have mixed emotions but I am Praying for all Breast Cancers patients and especially this month even more since It's Breast Cancer Recognition 🎀 month. God bless and watch over all and always keep the faith and I believe in the power of Prayers and having a relationship and talking to God.

3 days agoI’m 62. I’ve been taking it a month. I take Claritin twice daily. It helps me with bone and joint pain. I take anastrozole at bedtime with magnesium glycinate. I definitely notice fatigue.
