2 years agoI have had 4 chemo treatments 3 weeks apart followed with bilateral total mastectomy ( primary large tumor -975 gms in right, small lump in left)- surgeon very pleased with clear margins, all tumor removed along with one palpable node and 4 later identified microscopically following by 30 radiation treatments- previous enhanced scans showed no evidence of distal tumor... so my question- I know need endocrine therapy ( yes, tumors were HR +, HER-neg) but questioning if I will augment with CDK 4/6... ? anyone been on that drug? How were the side effects ? thank you

Many community members have shared experiences with CDK 4/6 inhibitors, and it's natural to have questions about potential side effects as you consider your treatment options. These medications are commonly discussed here, with people sharing various experiences ranging from manageable to more challenging side effects. Your treatment team will be the best resource for weighing the benefits and risks specific to your situation, and many find it helpful to hear from others who have been on similar treatment paths.
