7 months agoHello does anyone doing immunotherapy experiencing a smell of a burning candle? or what they called Phantosmia?
Accepted Answer
Phantosmia, including smells like burning candles, can sometimes occur during cancer treatments as the body responds to different therapies. This type of smell change affects some patients and can be concerning when it first happens. Others in the community may have experienced similar symptoms and could share their perspectives. It's worth mentioning this to your healthcare team, as they can help determine if it's treatment-related and discuss ways to manage it if needed.
