Are There Side Effects of Anastrozole for Stage 4 MBC?

I have MBC, and I am taking Anastrozole. I have some minor joint pain, but nothing major. I have been on it 5 years. I have no evidence of disease.

I have been in anastrozole for a few years now, I have wicked sweats and bone pain. And I’m talking worse sweats than menopause! I wake in a pool of it, but it hits me throughout the day, as well. I’m on pretty big meds for the bone pain. These are the worst side effects for me.

I’m stage 4, been on Anastrozole for a couple years now, after changing from Letrozole. I have wicked, wicked sweats. Day and night. Bone and joint pain. It’s slightly better than when I was on the Letrozole. I make sure to take it at night so my day is a little better. And I’m on a fair amount of pain meds, because I have to keep moving!
