a year agoHi everyone, Happy New Year. Just wondering if anyone here is MBC stage 4 and taking anestrozole? If so, what side effects, if any, have you experienced? Thank you, Eva

6 months agoI have MBC, and I am taking Anastrozole. I have some minor joint pain, but nothing major. I have been on it 5 years. I have no evidence of disease.

6 months agoI have been in anastrozole for a few years now, I have wicked sweats and bone pain. And I’m talking worse sweats than menopause! I wake in a pool of it, but it hits me throughout the day, as well. I’m on pretty big meds for the bone pain. These are the worst side effects for me.

6 months agoI’m stage 4, been on Anastrozole for a couple years now, after changing from Letrozole. I have wicked, wicked sweats. Day and night. Bone and joint pain. It’s slightly better than when I was on the Letrozole. I make sure to take it at night so my day is a little better. And I’m on a fair amount of pain meds, because I have to keep moving!
