a year agoAnyone experiencing arthritis from the aromatase inhibitors. I sure have and my doctor gave me a week off and then a different one and one hand is certainly worse than the other feels like a severe arthritis of my fingers and palm of my hand. My other hand, not so bad.

Joint pain and stiffness are commonly reported side effects with aromatase inhibitors, and many patients in this community have shared similar experiences with hand and finger discomfort. It sounds like your doctor is taking the right approach by trying a different medication - sometimes switching to another aromatase inhibitor can help reduce these side effects while still providing effective treatment.

6 months agoI’m on my second medication. Anastrazole gave me aches and pain in my legs that kept me awake at nite. I’m now on Letrazole which is giving me pain in my hands , right worse than left and carpal tunnel symptoms. Also depression & low energy most days. I know there are several more that could be tried but I feel they all have similar side effects; discouraging

6 months agoI believe it is worth it to try them all if necessary. Also a drug holiday between changing drugs ( aromatase inhibitors) due to half life of an inhibitor. I am frustrated by any and all drug side effects. Many side effects are similar, and this frustrates me! I am NED no evidence of disease but the ongoing treatment is making me feel ill. This is maddening!
