Feeling overwhelmed about understanding a cancer diagnosis is completely normal, and reaching out to this community shows real strength. Many patients find it helpful to write down questions before their next appointment with their care team, and connecting with others who share similar experiences here can also provide valuable insights and support.

I was a nurse for 40 years and it’s all Greek to me. I probably have a negative attitude too.

It is ok, a lot of acronyms and a lot of words, talk to your care team and they will break it down for you, mine did

Read 📚 read 📚 read! Cancer treatment is changing all the time! New drugs and other treatments too! I feel like it's a "good" time to be with knowledgeable doctors and chemistry! I sometimes read the same articles over and over. Never give up! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I suggest that all of you attend a Living Beyond Breast Cancer Conference. You will learn a lot plus meet a tremendous amount of cancer patients that share your journey. Being a part of communities like this will help you connect and learn more about your cancer. If interested, they will train you to be a Cancer Patient Advocate as well. Outcomes4me is just the beginning. Keep yourself informed and involved. These organizations need our support and our voices.
