4 months agoBloodwork came back low. Can’t start chemo meds until it does. Came back again low. Went up some but still low. What happens next? Waiting for doctor to look results over. Don’t know how long that will take.

Waiting for blood counts to recover before starting chemo can feel frustrating, especially when you're ready to move forward with treatment. The timing varies for each person, but oncology teams carefully monitor these levels to ensure treatment can be given safely and effectively. Many patients in this community have experienced similar delays, and connecting with others who understand this waiting period might provide helpful perspective while you await your doctor's guidance.
