a month agoSeeking Kisqali advice…I’m currently a year out from chemo and almost a year from radiation (it ended in March 2025). Double mastectomy in May 2024. I’m on Lupron monthly injections, anastrozole & kisqali. I’ve narrowed it down to the kisqali causing me the most problems. Fatigue (I’ve learned to deal with). But I’m having terrible constipation. I eat anywhere from 3-5 servings of vegetables per day if not more. Eat almost all real whole food. I take GO-3 Plus, it contains a pre, pro & post biotic; a digestive enzyme Go-Digest, and I also take Rest & GO at night (it contains B vitamins, biotin, cascara sagrada and multiple other herbs). I’ve added 2 packets of fiber per day and even a gentle bowel movement support vitamin that’s made to take at night in the morning to try and help. Eventually it works but it’s painful and frustrating. Has anyone else had this issue? Any advice?

a month agoSevere constipation from CDK4/6 inhibitors like Kisqali is a common and frustrating side effect that many patients in this community experience. It sounds like you're already taking a comprehensive approach with dietary changes and supplements, which shows great self-advocacy. Many find it helpful to discuss timing adjustments for Kisqali with their oncology team, explore prescription options specifically for treatment-related constipation, or work with their care team on additional strategies that might complement what you're already doing. Staying hydrated and gentle movement when energy allows can also make a difference for some patients.

11 days agoWhen did you start Kisqali. I started it after 2 yrs from chemo and radiation. I got 2nd opinion and that doctor said kisqali isn't given this far out. So now I need a 3rd opinion. Any ideas ?
