a year agoLetrozole is giving me significant stomach pain. What do others do to minimize stomach pain from AIs?
Accepted Answer
Managing stomach pain from hormone therapy can be really challenging, and many people in this community have found helpful strategies to discuss with their healthcare teams. Consider reaching out to your oncologist about timing the medication with food, splitting doses if appropriate, or exploring other options - they may have specific recommendations based on your situation that could provide relief.

6 months agoI’ve been on Letrozole since October 2022 and have not had that symptom. In fact, I don’t think it’s typical. Bring it to the attention of your oncologist to look into the source of your pain.

6 months agoI have been on letrozole and now I am on exemestane. If you cannot cope with the stomach issues, let your oncologist know. I take Pepcid complete for reflux. It isn't as bad with the exemestane, just have to deal with hair thinning and joint pain.
