I competed 4 cycles of TC chemo 9 months ago and 5 days of radiation 10 months ago. After starting on Anastrozole then Exemestane, which both had musculoskeletal side effects so crippling I took a break, I now feel I have aged 10 years. Do anyone else have this experience?

Many people in this community have shared similar experiences with feeling like treatment has taken a physical and emotional toll that goes beyond just the months of active treatment. The combination of chemotherapy, radiation, and hormone therapy can indeed affect energy levels, joint comfort, and overall well-being in ways that feel like accelerated aging. Your experience with needing to take breaks from hormone therapy due to side effects is something others here have navigated too, and it's completely understandable that you're looking for connection with others who truly get what you're going through.

I have to move around a bit and do stretches to get it to settle down. Acupuncture has helped a lot this is hard with to many unknowns. Best wishes on your journey

Thanks for your reply. Acupuncture is something I haven’t tried yet so I’m glad to hear it has worked for you. Good luck to you as well!

Yes, try acupuncture! I never had it before either! Now I swear by it. Some insurances actually cover it now and some areas offer several visits no charge for cancer patients. Take care & keep positive❣️
