a month agoI'm going through breast cancer treatment and have been experiencing a lot of anxiety lately. I'm currently on Anastrozole (anastrozole) and Letrozole (letrozole), and I know anxiety is pretty common during cancer treatment. Between managing everything that comes with cancer and the hormonal changes from treatment, I'm dealing with feelings of worry and uneasiness that feel overwhelming at times. I'd love to hear from others who've been in similar situations and learn what helped you get through this part of your journey. • How did you manage anxiety during your breast cancer treatment? • What strategies or support helped you feel more at ease day to day?

a month agoAnxiety during breast cancer treatment is incredibly common, especially with hormonal therapies that can intensify these feelings. Many community members have found relief through a combination of approaches like mindfulness techniques, gentle exercise, support groups, and working with their healthcare team to address both the physical and emotional aspects of treatment. Consider sharing what specific times of day or situations trigger your anxiety most - others here may have faced similar challenges and can offer practical strategies that worked for them.

9 days agoAnastrozole is a tough one for me. I was on it from October 2025 to July 2026 I had to make a decision to not continue it. I didn’t get any results from tumor shrinkage at all, but I ended up with arthritis in my right wrist and two trigger fingers. The pain throughout my body was unbearable. I couldn’t walk because my joints in my hips and my knees were painful. My mood was off the charts. I fell in and out of melancholy for days. After standing in the shower for two days, not being able to move to shower because of the pain I made the decision to stop taking anastrozole.
