4 months agoI had an Oncotype score of 13, but a mammoprint that came back high risk ( just barely over the lip. Has anyone else had discordant results?
Accepted Answer
Discordant test results between Oncotype and MammaPrint can understandably create confusion and uncertainty about treatment decisions. These tests use different methods to assess risk, which is why results sometimes don't align perfectly, and this situation comes up for some patients in the HR+ HER2- community. Many others here have navigated similar questions about conflicting genomic test results, so sharing experiences and discussing how oncologists helped interpret these findings could be valuable for the community.

4 months agoThat’s very interesting. It makes me wonder just how good the Onco type score is. I was never offered the Mammoprint. It’s probably something you have to do on your own. my Onco score was 14.

3 months agoI asked my doctor and she does only the oncotype. I got a score of 10, no radiation or chemotherapy was recommended. I guess mammoprint gives you a number to decide if you are a candidate for chemo or radiation. There are all kinds of tests out there, including blood tests that can give you information as to if you might still have some cancerous cells in your body.
