8 months agoHas anyone had experience with watery eyes during chemo treatment. My eyes are constantly watery. I have had 4 treatments and have four to go. Started back around third treatment and now it’s constant. I use systane eye drops but it does not seem to help. Thoughts?

This side effect can be really frustrating to deal with on top of everything else you're managing during treatment. Many people in the community have shared similar experiences with eye-related changes during chemotherapy, and it's definitely worth bringing up with your care team since they may have additional suggestions beyond over-the-counter drops or want to check if this could be related to your specific treatment plan.

6 months agoHello. Yes had the same for months. Was given a steroid drop but it didn’t help. It went away on its own several weeks later

6 months agoI only had 4 cycles and I didn't notice it during chemo but almost immediately I after had non stop watery eyes. Had to keep a kleenex near at all times. My Dr. wasn't surprised as chemo effects so many systems, especially those that have quick cell turn over. Then like magic it was just gone one day. It was probably 3 months after finishing for it to completely stop. I also had brown lines down some of my fingernails and toenails which was concerning but was also from chemo.

6 months agoYes near the end of my 12 Taxol treatments. Was worried my contacts were going to come out because of it. But is slowly dissipated after completing Taxol.

5 months agoI had watery eyes all throughout chemo nothing seemed to help so I carried tissues with me all of the time from time to time people would even ask me if I was okay and I would smile and just say I'm surviving right now :)
