7 months agoAnyone with low stage IDC look at that bloodwork a the time? I do, and it causes me to question things. My alkaline phosphate was pretty steady around 60-70 since July then in the last month or so jumped to 99. It’s still in normal range but I don’t like it. My doctor doesn’t seem concerned, but I read some journals that correlate high alk phosphate with bone Mets.

It's completely understandable to feel concerned when lab values change, even when they remain within normal ranges. Many patients with HR+ HER2- breast cancer find themselves closely monitoring bloodwork and notice similar fluctuations in alkaline phosphatase levels. While only your medical team can properly interpret your results in the context of your complete health picture, it might be helpful to discuss your specific concerns about the upward trend with your oncologist and ask about whether additional monitoring or testing would be appropriate for your situation.

6 months agoMine is 90. My doctor doesn't seem worried, although she doesn't seem worried about anything and when I ask she gets defensive.
