a year agoHi I am Hr+HER- MBC . The cancer has spread to most of my bones and lungs. I received my 3rd radiation treatment today for pain in my left femur and pelvis. The pain today is worse, is this normal?

Pain increases during or shortly after radiation treatment can happen as the body responds to the therapy, though this is something important to discuss with your radiation oncology team right away. They can best evaluate whether what you're experiencing falls within expected parameters and help adjust your pain management plan if needed - don't hesitate to reach out to them between appointments if you have concerns about changes in your symptoms.
