12 hours agoI have er+ her2- with a micromet and I want to know if anyone has had any experience with dhea vaginal inserts to help with dryness or testosterone for vaginal dryness. I’ve been reading more about vaginal estrogen and I’m a little confused about it

7 hours agoThis is such an important question about managing treatment side effects, and it's completely understandable to feel confused with all the different options and considerations. Many people in the HR+ HER2- community have navigated similar concerns about vaginal dryness and hormone-related treatments, so hopefully others here can share their experiences and what discussions they've had with their oncology teams about these options.

7 hours agoI am planning to have a conversation about this with the menopause clinic at my care center. I am also ER+ HER2-, post lumpectomy, chemo, and now going thru radiation. Next up is AI for 5 years, not looking forward to that. There is a lot of conversation right now around this. I would advise that you find a practitioner who is a member of The Menopause Society, they are keeping their membership up to date on vaginal estrogen esp for those of us with hormone positive BC. Good Luck!
