4 months agoBeen post surgery now almost as week. Won’t see my oncologist until Sept 4 to discuss what the pathology on the tumor was and my treatment options. I’m also at positive she will say I need to take an aromatics inhibitor cause it was ER/PR positive. If anyone has had info on taking these please comment. They all sound pret scary. Thanks

The time between surgery and meeting with your oncologist can feel overwhelming with so many unknowns. Many people in this community have shared helpful experiences about hormone therapy treatments, and connecting with others who understand this journey can provide valuable support and practical insights. Consider reaching out to fellow community members who may have similar experiences to share their perspectives on what to expect during treatment discussions and recovery.

4 months agoI just started anastrazole about 1.5 months ago along with kisqali. Trying to get used to them. Some mild side effects, but nothing to be scared of. The alternative of tge cancer coming back scares me more.

4 months agoI was on Letrozole for 3 months, and decided to switch to tamoxifen. I didn’t like the joint pain and mood swings I was experiencing. So far, tamoxifen has been much easier. But I’ve only been on it for 2 weeks 🙂

3 months agoAnastrozole. I seemed to be ok for the first two months but started with “night sweats” in August. It was hot outside but I have great a/c. Last week had a couple of really bad nights and stopped taking it for two days. Immediate relief. I am back on it now. We shall see. Meeting with the oncologist on September 4. Not going through this for five years.
