Well I had them in menopause but not to where I got dizzy or poured sweat like my friends. Glad Letrozole hasn’t caused them bc it’s all hormone related and my cancer feeds off hormones at 98%. You just get some air or carry a personal lil fan. Cool wash clothes help too. This too shall pass. I wasn’t in menopause when I had cancer so not really an issue for me and I’ll take hot flashes over nite sweats and pms migraines anytime!!!

Primrose oil helped a lot. My oncologist suggested using them and she was right

I have found that acupuncture has helped to reduce their frequency and intensity.

I have not and it’s so annoying. I’m hot all the time! I can’t handle anything over 70 degrees. And the sweats never stop until I get cold. Best wishes! If you find relief please tell me all about it.

My doctor prescribed Pristiq for the hot flashes. It took a couple months to really notice the effects, but it has reduced hot flashes by 90%. I have been on it for 2 years. It also really helped with depression and anxiety from breast cancer diagnosis.

I’ve tried Bonafide, they have two herbal supplements. Thermela was helpful. My acupuncturist recommended Embr Wave, which you wear on your wrist and helps relieve hot flashes!

My hot flashes & night sweats were overwhelming plus caused insomnia. This is all caused by the hormone blocking medication. I’m 15 years post menopause and never experienced these symptoms before. I took a chance on both supplements & Embr Wave and they help immensly!

Yes, you must avoid all plant hormones as well, important to clear all supplements with your oncologists
