7 months agoJust had my breast reconstruction done 12 weeks ago (DIEP Flap) and want to know has anyone had issues with new belly button bleeding?

It's completely understandable to have concerns about changes around your surgical site, especially after such a significant procedure. Belly button healing can vary from person to person following DIEP flap reconstruction, and any bleeding should definitely be evaluated by your surgical team. Reaching out to your plastic surgeon's office would be the best next step, as they can properly assess what's happening and provide guidance based on your specific situation. Wishing you continued healing during your recovery journey.

5 months agoI had my diep flap reconstruction done on 7/29/25 and my belly button is still red but no bleeding. I just recently had my incision stop draining in one small area. I hope my belly button looks better once all healed.
