8 months agoWhat can replace Anastrozole? My insurance no longer covers it.
Accepted Answer
Insurance coverage changes can be really frustrating, especially when it affects important medications. There are other aromatase inhibitors like letrozole and exemestane that work similarly to anastrozole, so it's worth having a conversation with your oncologist about whether one of these alternatives might be covered by your insurance and appropriate for your specific situation. Many people in this community have navigated similar insurance challenges and may have helpful experiences to share.

6 months agoI would call the insurance company to find out why one of the AI is not covered. That seems very odd. Have your onco office call them.

6 months agoSo frustrating. I agree with Diana that you should let your medical oncologist know asap and they should be able to work with your insurance to figure it out.
