Making treatment decisions can feel overwhelming, especially when weighing potential benefits against side effects. Many community members find it helpful to discuss their specific concerns with their oncology team, who can provide personalized guidance based on individual health factors and treatment goals. Others in this community who have experience with these medications may share their perspectives, which could offer valuable insights as you navigate this decision.

I am on anastrazole and kisqali (ribobiclib) for the past 6 months. Side effects seem to be declining/ getting more manageable for me as time goes on. One thing to watch out for that no one warned me about. After starting the kisqali my skin/breast that was radiated got discolored, sore and itchy. I was told it was radiation recall that sometimes happens with the start of those meds. It went away with a round of steroids.

I have Mbc and just started on hormone therapy for hr+hr- small nodules on my lungs that after biopsy said it is breast cancer and few spots on bones.. then will also be starting riboblic. (Not sure is spelling. They say it is stage 4 . I am 70 yrs old and have been in remission from invasive breast cancer since 2017 and the nhl follicular lymphoma in 2019 and that is in remission since 2022.. I feel good and my labs are perfect and I have been receiving ivig infusions to help rebuild my immune system.. can anyone tell me what life expectancy might be for mbc

I am on Kisquali 400mg since June 2024. I have a small stage 4 breast cancer to my T9. It is stable. I also take the Furvestrant injections. No side effects to really speak about. Some lumps at the injection sites. That's it. Happy with the Kisquali so far.
