Hi. I am wondering if there are any DES daughters in this group? Having recently gone through a lumpectomy I believe that DES played a part in this.

There are indeed other community members who have connections to DES exposure, and connecting with others who share similar experiences can provide valuable support and insights. Many people find it helpful to discuss potential links between past exposures and current health situations with their healthcare team, who can provide personalized guidance based on individual medical history.

I am a DES daughter although my mother's doctor never documented the shot. I have no genetic markers. I think for me with 2 seperate cancers, colon and breast I believe my case was 911 related.

I am a DES daughter. I'm 71 and just diagnosed with IDC. Very small, less than 1 cm, and slow growing. Er/pr+ and HER- No node involvement suspected. I do think the DES contributed. I'm scheduled for contrast MRI in a week to confirm no node involvement. I'll have a lumpectomy in early October.

I had a lumpectomy and will complete IMRT radiation therapy soon. I'm thinking of declining endocrine therapy. Tamoxifen is related to DES. And the AI drugs can affect bones and cognition. Curious what treatments you have selected?

Tamoxifen related to DES? Can you share the literature or findings. I wanted to read it. Thanks

Mayra I'll search my notes. If you google tamoxifen DES and breast cancer, you'll see the following: Tamoxifen is drug related to DES in the Google Ai response
