a month agoSo I was diagnosed in September 2023 went through lumpectomy and lymph node surgery followed by radiation. So now I have a lump next to my anal area and I don't think it is hemorrhoids. Has anyone ever have breast cancer spread to that area? I am so concerned that is what happened. Please let me know if anyone has or had this problem.

a month agoIt's completely understandable to feel concerned about any new lumps after a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. While breast cancer can spread to various parts of the body, any new symptoms deserve proper medical evaluation to determine the cause. Reaching out to your oncology team or primary care doctor about this new lump would be the best next step, as they can examine it and determine what tests or follow-up might be needed. Many community members here have faced similar worries about new symptoms after treatment, so you're definitely not alone in having these concerns.
