At 83, with HR+, HER2-, started taking Letrozole, first had dizziness, then brain fog. Driving home from a local store and did not know where I was. Stopped taking Letrozole. Do I need to have radiation? I had 2 lumpectomies so focused radiation would not work.

These side effects sound really concerning and it's completely understandable why you stopped the medication. Treatment decisions, especially around radiation and hormone therapy, are very personal and depend on many factors specific to your situation that only your oncology team can properly evaluate. Consider reaching out to your doctor to discuss alternative treatment options and whether radiation is necessary in your case - they may have other approaches that could work better for you with fewer side effects.

Have you told your oncologist and your family?Radiation would kill any lingering cells left behind. How is your health in general? Have you considered messaging the nurses here. There is a link on the home page at the bottom.
