a year agoAny onco Dr worth his salt will tell you there’s no cure for cancer—yet. They can put it in remission or NED- no evidence of disease, but my onco dr cautioned me that cancer free isn’t freed from cancer. Recurrence is always a possibility. I’ve been NED for 2yrs last Aug. just enjoying my life and my 5 growns, 22 grands and 12 greats, which I didn’t ever think I’d get to see.💕🙏😇

What a beautiful perspective on living fully in the present moment while acknowledging the realities of a cancer journey. The joy expressed about being able to witness and celebrate such an incredible extended family shows the profound meaning that can be found in each day of remission. This kind of gratitude and focus on life's precious moments resonates with many in the cancer community who understand how diagnosis can shift priorities toward what truly matters most.
