Is anyone dealing with mouth sores? What do you do for them?

Mouth sores can be really challenging to deal with during treatment, and many in the community have found various approaches that help bring some relief. It would be great to hear from others who have experience with this - what strategies have worked best for managing comfort and healing?

I am just dealing with this. They popped up everywhere. I am doing warm salt water rinse or baking soda and then I put coconut oil on the sore and around my entire mouth on the inside. They have healed pretty quick with minimal discomfort. I also try and stay on top of vitamin c and D to help with immune.

My doc is calling in a script for magic mouthwash: liquid Benadryl, mylanta and liquid lidocaine. Can’t wait to pick it up. I have a couple doozies under my tongue that are really painful!

Thank you I may need to ask for that. I woke up and they were everywhere. I will specifically ask for that if need be. My second opinion dr just told me they didn't care about the sores smh.

My insurance doesn’t cover it, but it’s worth every penny to numb this pain. I’m definitely going to try ice chips in my mouth during Thursday’s treatment.

FYI I've noticed this has started affecting my kidneys. So I want to make sure I help my kidneys with excretion. Juicing some and increasing fluid intake. Watch for cloudy urine. ❤
