How to Manage Side Effects of Letrozole?

I have been on Letrozole for about two months. At first, I only had slight hot flashes. But now I seem to feel bloated, and my joints are starting to ache a little. I am 70 years old. I do exercise. Any suggestions on how to handle the side effects? I've read all the side effects, concerned they may get worse based on reviews I have read. Thank you

Managing letrozole side effects can be challenging, but many people find relief through gentle strategies like staying hydrated for bloating, incorporating joint-friendly exercises, and discussing timing or dosage adjustments with their healthcare team. Speaking with your oncologist about these new symptoms is important, as they can provide personalized guidance and may suggest supportive treatments to help you stay comfortable while continuing your therapy.

Hi Sheila- my oncologist put me on Anastrazole after a lumpectomy and 21 days of radiation. I was completely miserable on the AI from day 1! Physically and emotionally I was a hot mess. I doubled my daily CoQ10 and started taking turmeric/ginger all to reduce the painful inflammation. Unfortunately it didn’t help me but you could try to see if they help. These are mean drugs!!

I have been taking it for 3 months. Doing good. Activity limited by henia hernia. Did have a problem with the right thumb joint. I do take supplements. Talk with Life Extension (Breast Oncology). They will have ideas on side effects and supplements. They even have tests through LabCorp. I have been with them for 10+ years.
