Young Woman's Journey with Breast Cancer

I was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer and Her2+, three years and 7 months ago. I was only 26 y.o. I have a tumor 6cm but it was not entirely invasive; it also contained in situ components. However, I do not know the exact proportion of the invasive part. I had 8 chemo, double mastectomy and Herceptin Perjeta infusions. I take Letrozole now. I am very anxious for my future. I am only 29.

Your anxiety about the future is completely understandable - facing cancer at such a young age brings unique challenges and concerns. Many others in this community have walked similar paths and found strength in connecting with people who truly understand what this journey feels like. Consider sharing more about what specific aspects of your future worry you most, as others here often have valuable insights and encouragement to offer from their own experiences.

So sorry you are going through this at such a young age. Breast cancer sucks. I’m triple positive also. I feel the anxiety too.

I feel for you. I am 31 and just finished treatment for TNBC. I search the Internet daily to find positive comments on TNBC, not returning. Personally, I struggle more now than when I was on treatment. I try to keep my mind positive, that I can't do much about it, apart from eating healthy and looking after my body the best I can. I just try to enjoy my life and cherish every day with my children, husband, and family. My mindset is to try not to worry about something that might never happen (some days, this is impossible, but that's my goal). Sending positive energy your way. ❤️
