2 years agoI'm doing everything I can to fight inflammation. Claritin, tart cherry, melatonin, acupuncture, anti-inflammatory diet, exercise... my CRP is elevated. Can anyone tell me what else we can safely take to fight inflammation?

It sounds like you're taking a comprehensive approach to managing inflammation, which shows great dedication to your health. While there are other anti-inflammatory options that people discuss, it's really important to work closely with your oncology team before adding anything new, especially since some supplements can interact with cancer treatments or affect how well they work. Your healthcare providers can help evaluate what might be safe and appropriate for your specific situation, and they may also want to investigate what's causing your elevated CRP levels to ensure you're addressing the root cause effectively.

7 months agoMy mom (age 75) who is heading into a lumpectomy in December for IDC stage 1b, just mentioned that she does not observe inflammation in her life in general. (Her high-fiber diet starting from breakfast may have something to do with it.) I also attend regular acupuncture appointment to deal with stress and other routine things. Sorry I do not have advice presently, but I would like to follow this thread.

7 months agoI’d be interested in the answers here as well since I’m now allergic to everything under the sun and have to live on Benadryl during chemo . My body is so inflamed. I think the drugs trigger it but I did notice after having Covid two years ago that inflammation has been a constant problem. ….

7 months agoThey say inflammation is bad for cancer and yet the chemo drugs cause it?! This entire system seems counter productive. I don’t understand it . It’s madness
