It sounds like you're looking for information about Inrance as a treatment option. Many community members find it helpful to connect with others who have experience with specific medications or treatments. Consider sharing a bit more about what you'd like to know - whether it's about side effects, effectiveness, or general experiences - as this can help others provide more targeted insights. Your healthcare team is also a great resource for discussing how any treatment might fit into your specific care plan.

Hi my name is Mary and that was the first pill my Dr. put on 4 yrs ago. Now I’m back on chemo because my markers went flying and the breast cancer spread to bones in my back. I had horrible back, side and leg pain for I started the infusions. I’m going on my third one and the only time I have pain is when I’m on my feet too long but it is definitely better. The side effects of the pill was the usual, nausea aches and just feeling tired. U’ll be ok just follow what Dr. tells u do. Ure welcome to write anytime.

I was on ibrance back in march which I had to pay 2k for since it wasn’t covered. Was on 3 weeks and my blood counts dropped so low and fast that they took me off. Finished radiation in September and they put me back on. Blood counts dropped so low and I was bruised so bad heart pains etc. they took me off again a week and a half ago. Waiting to get new bloodwork next week. Bruises are healing. I’m afraid what they’ll try to put me on next.

For that particularly pill I know that some pharmacial companies will pay for the pill. When I was taking Iberance it costed $18.000 a month and they took care of it. I’m sorry u’re having such a problem. Talk to the Dr. and see if there’s another pill they can put u on but won’t give u the side effects. There are so many and coming out with more. In 4 years I ve been on 4 different pills. Now I’m on chemo cause the markers have been going up and a lot of irritation in back cause that’s where it spread. So far I’m going into my 3rd infusion and doing well aside from the way it makes u feel. I wish well and my Mom would say” this to shall pass”. Please keep in touch and let me know how u’re doing. Mary

Try to staet on meds at a low dose 50 mg for a month, then increase tp 100 mg for the next month etc. This works for a lot of people to increase the dose slowly

I wa diagnosed in 2019; after doing chemo for almost a year, I was put on Ibrance for about 3 years; it was great! No side effects except tiredness. I asked my dr. If I could go back on it and he said no; now I’m doing chemo again.
