11 days agoHello everyone! I had lumpectomy and removal of axilary lymph nodes this past Friday. I have a drainage and my questions is what is the average number of days to get the drain removed? Thank you so much for your support!

10 days agoDrain removal timing varies from person to person, but many patients find their drains stay in place for about 1-2 weeks after surgery, depending on how much fluid is draining and your healing progress. Your surgical team will likely monitor the output and remove the drain when it's safe to do so - they're the best source for guidance specific to your recovery timeline.
