2 years agoHello everyone! Do you have any suggestions or experiences for reducing fatigue and weakness during chemotherapy sessions? My mother just spent her 3th of 8 rounds of chemotherapy but feels much fatigued. She walks daily, takes enough sunlight (as I searched). Any diet suggestions? And how long this fatigue will last? Thanks

Managing fatigue during chemotherapy is one of the most common challenges patients face, and it sounds like walking and getting sunlight are already great steps being taken. Many community members find that eating small, frequent meals with protein-rich foods can help maintain energy levels, while staying hydrated and getting quality rest when possible also makes a difference. Fatigue often improves gradually after treatment ends, though the timeline varies for each person - connecting with the care team about these symptoms can provide more personalized guidance and reassurance.
