8 months agoWhat do you do for fatigue? I am 7 days out from my second round, and the fatigue is overwhelming. My sleep cycle is disrupted to the point I am sleeping half of the night and half of the morning. Any helpful suggestions*
Accepted Answer
Chemotherapy fatigue can feel incredibly draining, and the disrupted sleep patterns many experience during treatment only add to the challenge. Consider gentle activities like short walks when energy allows, maintaining a consistent bedtime routine even with irregular sleep, and discussing fatigue management strategies with your care team who may have additional resources or suggestions tailored to your specific situation.

6 months agoHi Rebecca. Fatigue was an issue for me as well and seemed worse after each round. I just slept as much as I needed. The fatigue usually disappeared by day 10. My Dr. Also offered hydration infusions 1-2 xs a week if I needed. Hydrate and self care. I also had trouble sleeping at nite, anxiety causing brain to talk to me me lol. Dr prescribed ambian which helped a lot during chemo
