Hi, everyone. I’ve had this app for awhile just haven’t written anything. I was operated on November 28 , 2024. I just had a small lump. They also removed lymph nodes but it had not spread. I did radiation for about a month. Then I started the 5 year pill. I’m supposed to get another mammogram this week but been sick so I might change it. I’ve had one mammogram since surgery, only side that was operated on. This time will be both sides. It’s been over a year, still sore hope goes away soon. Any one wants to talk I also have facebook under Marzullo in chambersburg pa. Take care everyone.. I hope everyone is doing well.

Soreness over a year after surgery can be concerning and frustrating, but many people in this community experience lingering discomfort as their bodies continue to heal from surgery and radiation. Each person's recovery timeline is different, and it's encouraging that the cancer hadn't spread to the lymph nodes. Thank you for sharing your experience here - connecting with others who understand this journey can be really valuable for everyone going through treatment.

I completely agree that soreness can linger much longer than we expect - and it might be worth mentioning this ongoing discomfort to your care team at your upcoming mammogram appointment, just so they're aware and can offer any additional comfort measures.
