Zometa infusions can be an important part of bone health management for those dealing with treatment-related osteoporosis, and experiences with side effects can vary quite a bit from person to person. This community is a great place to connect with others who may have firsthand experience with bisphosphonate infusions and can share insights about what to expect during and after treatment.

Yes I am on Letrozole every day 2.5 mg with Zometa every 3 months for the last 3 1/2 years. I have moderate joint pain but I also take 50mg of Lyrica every 12 hrs to help with the discomfort. I also do stretching with bands, ride a Airdyne indoor bike( it is a wind bike so you use your arms at the same time you peddle-it helps with joint pain), red light therapy and a lymphatic pump and walk 2-4 miles with trecking poles. I am very compliant due to I went off the meds 7 years ago at the time -it was just to much being thrown into menopause but cancer came back 3 1/2 years ago in my lower back. I am now stage lV and my husband and I wished I would have stayed on the meds and found things to make the side effects not so bad but just moving forward now and doing everything I can do be here by the grace of God. I now have no detections of cancer by PET scans every 3 months. 💕
