2 months ago6 months from surgery having pain in breast and under arm where lymph nodes were removed. It’s like a burning pain. I’ve been called to have ultrasound scan tomorrow. This never ends and I’m fearful. 😵💫
Accepted Answer
Burning sensations after breast surgery and lymph node removal can be concerning, but this type of nerve-related discomfort is actually quite common during the healing process. The ultrasound scan will help provide clarity about what's happening, and it's completely understandable to feel anxious while waiting for answers - many others in this community have shared similar experiences and concerns.

2 months agoI’m having similar pain after 3 years. My oncologist says she has some patients 10 years out still having nerve pain. She said the nerves don’t like to be messed with and don’t let you forget it.

19 days agoMe too, surgery removed ith breast and lymph nodes on one side- still have pain like nerve shoots, and they said scar tissue starts to form and that can be painful as well. It’s never ending. Developed lymphedema in left arm and hand too. Now that has to be managed all the time.
