Side effects from chemotherapy can vary greatly from person to person, but many people experience symptoms like leg cramps, stomach issues, and taste changes in the days and weeks following treatment. These effects typically improve as your body recovers between cycles, though the timeline can differ for everyone based on factors like the specific medications used and individual response. Many community members have shared similar experiences, so you're definitely not alone in dealing with these challenging but often temporary side effects.

6 months agoHi Jennifer. I had leg aches/pain the week following chemo. Got better by week 2. The taste issue lasted thru the 4 rounds of chemo. Don't eat your favorite foods cause you will be disappointed. I found sucking on lozenges helped. I was not very hungry thru the chemo process, drank some frozen ensure smoothies which were ok.
