8 months agoHas anyone been asked to take Zometa for BC that’s metastasized to your bones? How were the side effects? Has anyone used any kind of supplements instead?
Accepted Answer
Many community members have shared their experiences with Zometa and other bone-strengthening treatments, and it's completely understandable to want to learn from others who've been in similar situations. Treatment decisions for bone metastases are highly individual, so connecting with others here who can share their real experiences with side effects and how they managed them could provide valuable insights as you discuss options with your medical team.

6 months agoHelene, I see the dentist on April 2, and may start it soon after. I really don’t trust pharmaceuticals and would prefer to go a natural route. Let’s keep in touch to compare notes.

6 months agoClaudia, I have been on Zometa, ibrance, Fulvestrant for 7 years. I have side effects in 3 categories but not sure which meds cause them: FATIGUE, PAIN (mostly back, arms), and DIGESTIVE (constipation, nausea). I have meds for side effects and they help some. PAIN is tough, take low dose prescription when tylenol doesn't work. Have just started sleep meditation for pain and I like it.
