I’ve surpassed a year on chemo. Done 25 radiation sessions. The CIPN is pushing me beyond my limits. Anyone here dealing with this? If so, what do you do for relief? I’m terrified if it never going away.

Many community members have found relief through various approaches for peripheral neuropathy, including gentle exercises, compression gloves or socks, topical treatments, and working with their medical team to explore medication options or dose adjustments. Connecting with others who understand this challenge can provide both practical tips and emotional support during this difficult time.

When I finished 20 weeks of chemo they wanted me to do surgery 2 weeks later. I told them I needed a break. So they scheduled me for a month break instead. Now post surgery, I'm going to advocate for another break between surgery and radiation that me and oncology can agree on if I need to. Just tell them you need a break.

I’ve done over a year IV. I took a two month break after 14 months. Part of it was there were no options, but I felt like a new person after. Discuss a drug holiday with your Oncologist.
