2 years agoI have an excellent oncologist and radiologist that I am really comfortable with and are really good to me and up to date and all but in this supportive care It says they help with physical and my physical is therapy on my arms and I have not been able to find help with that. I have been to the Bradley wellness center but my insurance has stopped covering that and I've also been over here to this other place at Calhoun Georgia and when I got there they just ask a bunch of questions but they never massage my arms. I've been doing it myself. I also went to the cancer institute to ask for help with a lymph pump to massage my arms cuz they cost around $500 but they turn me down and I really don't understand why so that really kind of hurt my feelings. But anyway, I'm not trying to be mean just saying around 500 bucks arli pump

Finding affordable physical therapy for lymphedema management can be incredibly challenging, especially when insurance coverage changes or providers don't offer the specific care needed. Many cancer survivors face similar struggles with accessing lymphatic massage and specialized equipment like lymph pumps, so this frustration is completely understandable and shared by others in the community who might have suggestions or resources to explore.
