6 months agoI have IDC, hormone +(both types), HER2 is equivocal, so don't know about that one. I just got my full pathology report. It's all so new. Do you get side effects from each treatment or from the combo? What are they like. Thanks and all the best.
Accepted Answer
Treatment side effects can vary quite a bit from person to person, and both individual treatments and combinations can contribute to what someone experiences. Many community members find it helpful to discuss their specific experiences with different therapies, so connecting with others who have similar diagnoses might give you valuable insights into what to expect as you move forward with your treatment plan.

6 months agoHi, Carolyn, I had similar results from my pathology report of the biopsy they did; the equivocal HER2 result meant they had to do another test to get the result. My HER2 result was negative so I didn't need chemo prior to my surgery. Everyone has their own experience of the side effects. I feel fortunate that my recovery was smooth for the most part. Ask plenty of questions and do your own research before deciding on your next steps.
